New Year’s Eve actor Zac Efron is set to appear in a number of movies in 2012, including the Scott Hicks directed movie The Lucky One and Zac has been discussing the movie. Zac talks about his character Logan, his first time of reading the script and also how he feels that love has a lot to do with destiny.
Efron explained, “Ultimately he does indirectly owe her his life and he just knows that deep down in his heart that his next mission is to find this girl and to thank her. When I was first reading the script I heard from a lot of people who were like ‘Oh man, that’s my favourite book’”. He added, “It’s destiny I think and I think that’s what you hope that love is, it’s destiny.”
The Lucky One is based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks and, as well as Zac Efron, it also stars Taylor Schilling, Blythe Danner and Adam LeFevre. The movie centres around a marine who goes in search of an unknown girl that he believes was his lucky charm during the war. The Lucky One is set to be released on April 20, 2012.
